The England international had a sublime second half to the 2013-14 campaign, with it reported that he will be rewarded financially.
Although the likes of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge were hailed as the masterminds behind Liverpool’s excellent 2013-14 season, the form of Raheem Sterling is another massive plus for the Merseysiders.
The tricky winger was simply sublime in the second half of the season, showing electrifying pace and a goalscoring touch to make him one of the most devastating players in the Premier League.
With Sterling on international duty and many campaigning for him to start for England at the World Cup, the young attacker could well be set for a pay rise also.
The Mirror state that Liverpool are set to reward their star youngster with a new deal, which will take his wages from £35,000 per week to £100,000 per week.
The 19-year-old penned a new deal at Anfield 18 months ago, but with Sterling firmly part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans, a new contract could well be in order.
