Once coveted midfield player Yann M'Vila and Rubin Kazan are desperate to part. Will he find a home in the Premier League?
It was just two summers ago M'Vila was touted as the answer to Arsenal's hole at defensive midfield.
The 23-year-old at one point appeared close to signing for QPR before leaving Rennes for Rubin Kazan in Russia. Only in January he was touted as an option for Liverpool as a replacement for Lucas.
If any interest remains from any of these clubs, now is the time to enquire, because reports in Russia claim that both player and club are satisfied for there to be an amicable parting of the ways.
M'Vila is one of eight players up for sale, report newspaper Izvestia, and he is said to be keen to move on.
"French signings Yann M'Vila and Chris Mavinga failed to find a common language with the new head coach of Rubin and actively are looking for a new team.
"However, it is not only principled position Rinat Bilyaletdinov. The reason is the lack of players a great desire to go all out in the games for Kazan. In addition, the French players do not hide the desire to return to Europe."
The attitude concerns are ones which have held M'Vila back before, said to have caused Arsene Wenger to pause originally over his plans regarding the midfielder.
Yet the midfielder has plenty of years ahead of him and possesses the skills to become one of the top players in his position in Europe.
Valued at £13 million by transfermarkt, given the desire among both parties to do a deal, there is every chance any interested side will be able to sign him for less.
