Report: Valencia want Chelsea's Thorgan Hazard on loan next term

Mestalla Valencia

The La Liga side are said to be in the hunt to land the Belgian playmaker for a temporary spell in 2014-15.

Chelsea have a host of top-drawer young players returning to the club this summer after spending the 2013-14 season out on loan elsewhere.

Although the focus is on the likes of Thibaut Courtois and Romelu Lukaku, Thorgan Hazard has impressed while on loan back in his homeland.

Hazard junior faces a real battle to break into the Chelsea first-team squad given the amount of talent available to Jose Mourinho and there is every chance that the young playmaker could be loaned out again next term.

Super Deporte has claimed that the young Blues star is on the Mestalla side’s radar and that they will approach Chelsea this summer to gauge the possibility of taking him on loan.

Valencia have had Oriol Romeu on loan from the Stamford Bridge side in 2013-14, while the west Londoners bought Juan Mata from them a couple of years ago.

Los Che have been boosted by Singaporean businessman Peter Lim taking over the club and are looking for reinforcements to get them back into the Champions League.
