Good news for PS4 players signed up to PlayStation Plus who may have been feeling left out by getting only one game. Noting that “PlayStation Plus has been an essential part of PlayStation 4” VP of Sony Platforms Marketing John Koller states on the playstation blog, “Since we are always looking to continue evolving PS Plus to be a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games introduced each month with PS Plus... starting in June, members will have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms.”
The timing of the Instant Game Collection has also been streamlined so gamers will no longer have to keep checking in each week to see what the latest PlayStation Plus games are. All new games added to the Instant Collection will now be made available from the first Tuesday of each month (Wednesday in Europe) and will stay on the service for a whole month thereafter. Sony have warned however that as part of this move some long-time PS Plus games will be removed from the list.
