Southampton, QPR, AS Roma and Napoli stars all feature.
The former Saints boss signed a five-year deal to takeover as head coach of the club and he’ll now be fully focused on attracting players who can improve the side with a reported £50 million made available for him to spend this summer.
Here are some of his reported targets.
Adam Lallana (Southampton)
Lallana is one of the players who was instantly linked with Tottenham following Pochettino’s appointment. The England international would be a superb addition to the Tottenham midfield although there will be doubt if a player of his type is what the side needs looking forward.
Luke Shaw (Southampton)
Shaw is another player who has been linked with a White Hart Lane move. Shaw has been strongly linked with Manchester United and despite Pochettino’s departure, Southampton’s price demands are unlikely to have changed. A fee of around £30 million may be a little too much though Tottenham do need a left-back.
Loic Remy (Queens Park Rangers)
Remy would be a real coup for Spurs and not just because they’d be poaching him from former manager Harry Redknapp. Remy is wanted by the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. The thing working against the North Londoners is that the Frenchman has admitted he’s looking to play Champions League football.
Valon Behrami (Napoli)
The former West Ham United star has been one of the best players under Rafa Benitez at Napoli. TalkSPORT has reported that the player wants talks with the club to clarify his future, with several links appearing suggesting he could be moved on in the summer transfer window.
Mattia Destro (AS Roma)
A cheaper signing for Tottenham could be Mattia Destro of Roma. He was in good form for the Serie A giants last season and is well suited to the attacking brand of football that Pochettino likes to play. A bid of £14 million may be enough for the club to get him.
