Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott joined Twitter this week, and has been quick to share details of his recovery with fans.
The Englishman has not featured since early January when he injured his cruciate knee ligaments in an FA Cup win over rivals Tottenham.
He posted the above photo collage on the social networking site, illustrating the hard graft which the doctors have had to put in to aid his recovery. Crucially it shows what a good recovery, aesthetically, his knee appears to be making.
It emphasises just how serious Walcott's injury was, and for a player like him who relies on his pace as his strongest asset, he has a tough task to recover to his top physical condition.
Walcott misses the upcoming World Cup and no return date has been set but he will be hoping to recuperate in time for the start of next season.
