Luis Suarez dominated the football headlines last summer, and Liverpool fans will hope talk over his future stays low-key this time around.
European champions Real Madrid remain interested however, and could be ready to make their move in the coming weeks.
Spanish newspaper AS report Suarez is Real's big priority, and they will not give up.
They write that once Alvaro Morata's future is sorted out, they will step up their pursuit of the Uruguayan.
"Real probed Uruguayan's agent, Pere Guardiola (Pep's brother) last summer. Now the contacts have resumed, and if the sale of Morata materialises (contract ends in 2015 and wants more minutes) talks with Liverpool intensify."
Morata has been strongly linked in recent days not for the first time with a transfer to Arsenal. The Mail reported just today that the Gunners have sent a delegation to Madrid to try to seal the deal for the Spanish attacker.
If Arsenal make their move and sign the Spaniard, it will add into Real's finances and leave just Karim Benzema as a striker on the books at the Bernabeu.
And that will certainly give them greater means and motivation to pursue Suarez, however we would still be surprised if Liverpool are willing negotiators.
