VIDEO: Has Tottenham’s new home kit for next season been leaked?

Tottenham Hotspur may have revealed their new home kit for the 2014/15 season?

Tottenham Hotspur appear to have leaked their new home kit for the 2014/15 season, after a video was taken of the shirt on the club website. The shirt, not due for release until at least next month, features large navy blue cuffs on the sleeves and large insurance company AIA replacing last season’s computer manufacturers HP as the main sponsor.

The jersey appeared to be trialling for view on Spurs’ online club shop, before a video exposing the new design was taken.

The playing strip will hopefully represent a much improved season for Tottenham, after they finished sixth in the Premier League last season despite a busy summer transfer window.

The club sacked manager Andre Villas-Boas back in December after a run of poor results, and appointed Tim Sherwood as his replacement. Despite Sherwood improving Spurs’ performances and results in the second-half of the season, the former Tottenham player was sacked as coach just two days after the end of the campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino was appointment Spurs boss on a five-year deal just yesterday, and has been handed the task of spearheading the club into the Champions League. The Argentinian’s impressive record at Southampton along with his nurturing of young British talent makes him one of the best managerial prospects in the Premier League.

Spurs will face tough competition for Champions League qualification next season as they seek to close the gap between themselves and the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and rivals Arsenal. They surely resurgent Manchester United will also cause Tottenham problems, as they seek to gain entry to an immensely competitive top-four.
