A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

Manchester United are just one of a number of Premier League clubs linked with Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.

The play-maker has previously been linked with a switch to Old Trafford, and the Express reports that the 25-year-old is now in talks with two Premier League clubs according to his agent.

In other news, Cardiff City have announced the signing of Federico Macheda on a three-year contract from the start of July.

The Italian burst onto the scene at United when he scored the winning goal against Aston Villa in a game that played a huge part in the club winging the title. He quickly followed that strike with another winner against Sunderland. But his career has since faltered and he will be hoping to kick-start things under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Reports in Holland claim United could move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan, with Voetbal Primeur claiming Louis van Gaal is considering a move for the player.

Turan’s agent has confirmed there is interest and an offer from an unnamed English club.

It could be a case of one midfielder in and one out with Brazilian website Terra reporting that Santos are interested in bringing Anderson back to his homeland.

The United player failed to secure a permanent move to loan club Fiorentina and with just a year left on his contract it appears likely he will be of this summer.

Anderson is reportedly “Plan B” after Santos failed to sign Diego, who is said to favour a move to another European club.
