After the final day of qualifying rounds yesterday, the two European teams to make it through to this year’s TI14 tournament have been added to the roster.

The final day of the Europe qualifiers took place yesterday, with mousesports and Virtus.pro going head to head. Mousesports came out on top, beating Virtus.pro three games to two.
As the overall winners of the European quailifiers, mousesports are guaranteed a spot in the tournament. Virtus.pro, however, have been added to the Play-In Series, along with the runners up of the regional qualifiers.
The winner of Play-In series, between the regional runners up, will move on in the tournament to compete with the invited teams and the regional winners. The full line up for the Play-In Series is; Americas runners up, Team Liquid; Southeast Asia runners up, MVP Phoenix; China runners up, CIS Game; and newly added Europe runners up, Virtus.pro.
Last year The International grossed the largest eSports prize pool in history at a huge $2.8 million USD, which was partly contributed to by way of TI13 Compendium purchases. This year, again with the help of the latest Compendium, the prize pool is currently at a whopping $6.9 million USD – again setting a new record for the largest eSports prize pool.
The International 2014 tournament takes place at the KeyArena in Seattle, US, between 18 and 21 July. To watch the tournament you can either view the matches directly through Dota 2 iteself, on the Dota 2 website, or via Twitch.tv.
