Check out the promising new PVP options in Battlefield: Hardline

Battlefield 4 Cover

This is definitely one to look out for at E3 especially for FPS gamers looking for some slick new multiplayer action.

It’s true one of the most rewarding experiences to be had with big FPS games is that of succeeding missions with a well organised group. For FPS clans out there who tire of regurgitated multiplayer action with varying themed make-overs then Battlefield Hardline, Visceral Games’ Battlefield spin-off game is well worth a look.

Hardline is currently set to release sometime this Autumn but it is expected to be making an appearance at this year’s E3 and is one we’ll be looking out for.

A recently ‘leaked’ trailer is giving some detail into some new multiplayer scenarios coming with Hardline. Based on a cops and robbers, team vs team set-up. Hardline’s multiplayer will feature four modes that deliver a broad range of match-types. There will be a Heist, Payday-style mode where a team of thieves attempt to blow open a bank vault and escape another team of players trying to catch them. Blood Money will see frenzied pitch battles over a large stash of money. The very interesting looking Hotwire mode will have teams of cops chasing car thieves across large open maps and the Rescue mode pits a SWAT team against a group of robbers who have taken hostages in a failed heist.

The single player game coming with Hardline will be based on an episodic cop-series. You follow the story of a Miami detective called Nick on a revenge mission against his former trusted partner. Aswell as drawing from a set of characters that would fit right in, in a GTA game the single player episodes will implement new smart AI that will allow you to play each level multiple times in multiple different ways. A voice cast drawing from hit shows such as Justified, House of Cards and The Americans will be also be brought in for the character parts. Below is the trailer, check it out.

Battlefield Hardline is currently expected for PC the PlayStations and the Xboxes.
