‘Positive dialogue’ suggests Arsenal forward may move to top-flight rival

Hull City KC Stadium at night

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has reportedly had positive talks with Hull City's boss as a possible move edges closer.

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has had “positive dioalgue” with Hull City manager Steve Bruce regarding a possible move according to a report in Denmark.

Newspaper BT claims the striker and Bruce have maintained a good relationship since the player enjoyed a fruitful spell on loan at the manager’s former club Birmingham City.

The report also suggests that Hull are an attractive proposition for the Arsenal player as they will be playing Europa League football next season.

Bendtner’s contract at the Emirates Stadium expires next month, and it has been clear for some time that he will be on the move.

The Danish international has failed to kick-on since that loan spell at St Andrews and has rarely featured under Arsene Wenger in recent times.

Ity has previously been suggested that Bendtner’s wages could get in the way of a possible transfer, but BT claim he should be willing to take a substantial cut in order to push through a move.

Now 26, it is about time the player lived up to the potential he displayed in his early years in the game. And if Bruce can get the best out of him, this mooted move could be the best for all parties.
