FL transfer latest: Forest, Derby and Leeds feature, ex-Blues youngster heading for Teeside?

Derby County want loan trio, Nottingham Forest chase European duo, Leeds United face fight for two targets, Wolverhampton Wanderers want Liverpool midfielder and Middlesbrough interested in out-of-contract Chelsea star.

We take a look at the five biggest transfer stories to be released regarding Football League clubs in the past 24-hours.

Derby County want to keep key loan trio

Former England manager Steve McClaren has indicated that keeping key loan trio: George Thorne, Andre Wisdom and Patrick Bamford is a priority as he plans for another assault on promotion next season.

'The next stage is keeping the players we have under contract together.' said McClaren. 'I'd like to sort out the likes of Wisdom, Thorne and Bamford. Maybe we have a chance of getting them back because I think they've enjoyed their time here.'

The loss of the three players will be a huge blow to Derby County and Steve McClaren may have to move fast to keep the players at the iPro next season.

Nottingham Forest chase European duo

The Reds are reportedly interested in highly-rated Greek international 'keeper Stefanos Kapino and Excelsior striker Lars Veldwijk.

Kapino, 20, played 35 times for Panathinaikos last season in a disappointing campaign which saw them finish fourth in the Greek league. On the other hand, 22-year-old Dutch striker Lars Veldwijk won the plaudits in the Eerste Divisie after scoring a staggering 30 goals in 38 games.

Wolverhampton Wanderers want to sign Liverpool midfielder Conor Coady and Sheffield United defender Harry Maguire.

Kenny Jackett is interested in Conor Coady and Harry Maguire, according to the Shropshire Star.

Both players were key members of Sheffield United's resurgence under Nigel Clough and both players could move to the Molineux on permanent deals. Wolves have reportedly bid £1 million for Harry Maguire, whilst a bid between £500,000-750,000 is rumoured to being looked at by Liverpool officials.

Middlesbrough want out-of-contract Chelsea star Milan Lalkovic

Last season, the 21-year-old spent an impressive spell on-loan the banks and manager Dean Smith had been reportedly keen on landing the young star.

'Milan coming back is a possibility but he is going to have a look and see what is out there with his agent, obviously, and we'll do the same.' said Smith.

it has to be said that Middlesbrough would be much better equipped to handle the required financial demands of the Slovakian under-21 star who scored 6 goals in 38 games last season.

Leeds United face fight for two targets.

According to reports, Leeds United will do well to land either Victor Ibarbo or Tommy Rowe as recent reports link them with other clubs.

The Daily Mail have made Wolves favourites to sign former Peterborough utility man Tommy Rowe, whilst reports in Italy claim Rafa Benitez's Napoli could move for Cagliari star Victor Ibarbo. Serie A champions Juventus are also reportedly interested in Victor Ibarbo.
