The Wales international has rubbished claims that he is set for surgery this summer.
However, a thigh problem kept him on the sidelines for the guts of three months of the campaign and robbed the Gunners of arguably the in-form player in the top flight.
The Daily Mail has today stated that Ramsey’s injury woes are not behind him and that he would require surgery over the off-season on the troublesome thigh.
This operation would impede the talented ex-Cardiff man’s pre-season and be a real concern for the Emirates Stadium faithful.
However, Ramsey has taken to Twitter to clarify that he is not in need of surgery and that the rumours over his fitness should be ignored.
The Welshman scored ten goals in 20 Premier League starts and played a significant role in the Gunners ending their nine-year trophy drought by winning the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old is a driving force in the Arsenal side and having him fit to undertake a full pre-season will be essential in the North Londoners chances of success next term.
