Chelsea may have to fend off further interest from PSG in some of their key players.
David Luiz is on his way to Paris to play Ligue One football next season and PSG are reportedly weighing up moves for three more Chelsea players.
The Blues have seen a number of their key players linked with French moves throughout the season and they could now test Chelsea’s resolve further with offers for three stars according to the Daily Mail.
“The French club have signed David Luiz and are keen on taking Eden Hazard, Oscar and Petr Cech from Chelsea’s squad too,” reports the Mail.
Hazard was strongly linked with a PSG switch towards the end of last season, but he’s turned himself into Chelsea’s most important player.
The rumours suggest Hazard’s frustration is based around the way he’s sometimes defensively asked to play, but Jose Mourinho has shown a willingness to build his attack around the Belgian star.
Any move for Oscar is unlikely unless Mourinho manages to sign another top quality number ten this summer.
That’s doubtful considering the deal he commissioned which saw Juan Mata head off to Manchester United last winter in a £37 million deal.
Had Mourinho had doubts over the long term future of Oscar in his first team, it’s unlikely that he would have done a deal which saw Mata leave.
Petr Cech’s future is impossible to judge until we know more about how Thibaut Courtois will be used next season.
If the Belgian is brought back to the club, he’s made it clear that he wants to be the number one at Stamford Bridge heading into the new campaign.
Tottenham have been linked with Cech over the last couple of days but the Czech’s experience, consistency and guaranteed quality means it would be bizarre for the Blues to sell him unless Mourinho made it clear that Courtois is number one next season.
