An indie movie based around Ryu and Ken from Capcom’s Street Fighter games series has been uploaded to Youtube, and you can watch it all right now.

Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist , written by Christian Howard and Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum, Snow White and the Huntsman) - Ansah also directed the series - is a fan-film that centres around Ryu and Ken from the popular game series.

Debuting on Machinima, each of the episodes explores the history of Ryu and Ken as they learn an age-old fighting style known as ‘Ansatsuken’ (Assassin’s Fist), from their master Gouken in Japan.

The series also has a couple of faces you may vaguely recognise from other bigger movies, such as; Togo Igawa (The Last Samurai, 47 Ronin); and Mark Killeen (The Dark Knight Rises, 300: Rise of an Empire).

For an indie-developed movie the production and quality is high, and the series is really good too.

Take a look at the short prologue below, to get you started, and head on over to the series’ official website for more info. Let us know what you think.
