Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has wished his teammate Mesut Ozil the best of luck for the 2014 World Cup finals.
Ozill is set to be part of the 23-man Germany squad that will head to Brazil next month on a quest to win football’s greatest competition.
It will not be easy for a European side to emerge victorious in South America, but Joachim Low’s team will still be one of the favourites heading into the tournament.
Germany have some of the best footballers in the world, such as Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Muller, and will be determined to win the World Cup for the first time since 1990.
Ozil will be part of that exceptional group of players and despite his mixed season at Arsenal in 2013-14, he will be a force to reckon with in Brazil.
Having played alongside the former Real Madrid midfielder this past season, Ramsey would know what a brilliant player the 25-year-old is. The Wales international has now wished his Gunners teammate good luck in his mission to conquer the world.
Germany have been drawn against Portugal, Ghana and the USA in Group G. It does not promise to be very straightforward for the Germans. Portugal will be a force in Brazil, while both the Ghanaians and the Americans will not be pushovers.
