Miami Heat NBA Trade Talk: Featuring Kevin Love, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh

AA Arena Heat

A round-up of NBA Trade rumor and speculation relating to reigning champions Miami Heat, also featuring LeBron James.

Miami Heat are aiming for a NBA Championship three-peat, currently locked in the Eastern Conference Finals with Indiana.

The series is tied at 1-1, with the winners likely to face San Antonio Spurs for the championship, who 2-0 up.

Despite there being much to play for, rumors continue to swirl around the team. Here is our round-up and analysis from around the web.

Kevin Love trade to Miami?

Kevin Love has made no secret of his desire to leave Minnesota this off season, and is the hottest name in the NBA right now because of it. Team from the Rockets to the Warriors and even the Lakers have been linked. Yet could the Heat become surprise contenders? Website suggest Miami could acquire Love, if they threw Chris Bosh in as part of a trade. Love will be offered more money elsewhere, but in Miami he would have a surefire shot at winning a championship ring, and that has to be a temptation, right? Alternatives include the Rockets and Warriors, and one of these is probably more likely at this stage.

Carmelo Anthony a free agent arrival?

As for the top free agent this summer, no doubt about it, Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony is the most coveted. The IBTimes report that Miami's big three of James, Wade and Bosh could get together and opt out of their contracts to take a reduced salary if it meant bringing Anthony aboard, allowing them to dominate further in seasons to come. It may sound far fetched, but if the trio decided to put sporting success above money, already being richer than they could have imagined, it's a no-brainer.

Chris Bosh to leave?

Bosh is Miami's least valued of their stars, and as discussed above, could be dealt in part of a trade for Kevin Love. Website suggest Bosh should be dealt to the Washington Wizards. The Wizards have no picks in the upcoming draft and are $19 million below their salary cap, and could theoretically make a push for a big signing, if Bosh decides not to exercise his player option to extend to 2015. It all depends on how happy the 30-year-old is in Miami, and whether he wants to step out of the shadows of his more illustrious teammates and prove himself elsewhere.

LeBron James to enter free agency?

NBA superstar LeBron James could yet become a free agent this summer. We aren't buying it as likely, but it's worth a conversation. One alternate possibility is he returns to Cleveland in exchange for their number one draft pick, as suggested by the Business Insider. He has however given no indication he is ready to move on from Miami, and it would certainly be a surprise if it happened.
