A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Roma coach Rudi Garcia is hoping that his side make a big money move for Tottenham shot stopper Hugo Lloris.
The Frenchman was one of the most consistent players at Spurs last season, which has seen him linked with several big sides ahead of the summer transfer window.
French daily newspaper L’Equipe has claimed that Roma are plotting a move for the Spurs number one.
However, Tottenham have confirmed the exit of goalkeeper Huerelho Gomes.
Gomes will become a free agent when his contract expires at the end of this month.
The news could be a sign that Tottenham have been working on a deal to bring in a back up to Hugo Lloris this summer, despite not having a permanent manager in place.
Sandro’s agent has revealed that his client could be open to a move into Serie A football.
The midfielder has been linked with moves away from the club since his reported falling out with former manager Tim Sherwood.
“He would like to play in Serie A, it is a very important championship but now we have to wait to know if he can leave Tottenham or not,” said his agent.
