Former Chelsea hero Didier Drogba could be on the brink of signing for Juventus but the deal will depend on whether Antonio Conte wants him.
The Ivory Coast international looks set to leave Galatasaray as a free agent despite the Turkish club's attempt to keep hold of him.
Drogba has stressed that he has enjoyed his time in Istanbul but seems to be looking for what could be his last new challenge as a player at the age of 36.
A few different options have been suggested in the press, including a return to Chelsea, but Juventus and Roma looked like more serious options.
The paper reports that the Juventus directors are happy to push the deal forward, but they are waiting for coach Conte to give his opinion.
Conte may reject the move as he is said to want younger players this summer, which is reportedly why he isn't convinced about bringing in Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
However, Drogba would be a relatively cheap attacking option who could provide valuable expertise for the Champions League push which will be Conte's priority next term.
