The transfer rumours are going off like clockwork at the moment, so the chance to actually break some real confirmed news is rare. But one Premier League team has actually signed a player.
Sunderland had a tough campaign this term, what with Paolo Di Canio's debacle to start with and then their end of season survival, or 'The Miracle' as they like to refer to it, the Black Cats fans have been through the absolute mire this term.
But one player who had an interesting season is now on the move. Phil Bardsley found himself in trouble with Di Canio but thrust back into the team under Gus Poyet. But the former United youngster, seeking a fresh start one imagines, announced he would be leaving the Stadium of Light in April - along with Jack Colback.
And now he has his new team, Stoke City.
Stoke have revealed the player has joined on a three-year deal upon the expiration of his contract - even posting this picture on their official Twitter account to mark the occasion.

Mark Hughes will be hoping the versatile full-back, with a venomous strike, can help Stoke push on from their impressive season in 2013-14.
