The Elder Scrolls Online Craglorn update due this week

While console gamers lament the news of a six month delay for ESO the first major update is due for PC by Friday.

Speaking to IGN creative director Paul Sage has reported that testing for the new Craglorn update is coming to a close and that it will go live on either Thursday or Friday this week.

As part of a schedule to release fresh ESO content every four to six weeks, Craglorn will be the first major game update bringing in new 12-man trials and a level 50 adventure zone.

Sage has also said that once Craglorn goes live the second planned update is ready to go onto the public test server.

“I think we’re still at the tail-end of six weeks, I could be wrong there, it’s all a blur! But we’re either in the sixth week or the seventh with this update and I believe our next update is fairly on schedule,” Sage said . “When we released we talked about our plans rather than ‘this is exactly what it’s going to be’ – we’re generally pretty careful about the language.”

“I think any plan like that can be disrupted if something unforeseen happens. But right now we have the second update lined up and ready to go onto the PTS [Public Test Server] once we launch Craglorn.”

The next update will be the Veteran Dungeon Crypt of Hearts.
