Moussa Sissoko’s agent has stated that the France international midfielder has eyes on a move to another club.
Since the sale of Yohan Cabaye in the January transfer window it has all been downhill for Newcastle, with a summer of upheaval expected at the North East club.
A number of the French players at Alan Pardew’s disposal are expected to leave St James’ Park – with another giving a hint that his future could well be away from the Tyneside club.
Moussa Sissoko was one of the few bright sparks for Newcastle last season, but his agent has revealed that he is open to proposals of a move.
“He has only a year and a half on his contract at Newcastle and we are open to all proposals,” Frederic Guerra told Eurosport.
Although other players will be deemed as expendable this summer as Pardew looks to refine his squad ahead of next term, Sissoko is one that he would surely look to keep.
The versatile midfielder’s contract should be a matter of urgency as Sissoko has always been a player that the club could rely on.
