A round up of news stories this morning about Arsenal.
Toulouse defender Serge Aurier has talked up a potential move to Arsenal, revealing he’d find it difficult to say no to the club.
Aurier has been a long term interest for Arsene Wenger with recent reports suggesting talks have opened up over a deal for him.
“I've never prioritised a club in England as even the promoted clubs are respectable. I will privilege the one that will show the most interest in me, that will give me the most game time. After that, you can't really say 'no' to Arsenal,” he told EuroSport France.
That same EuroSport outlet has claimed that Bacary Sagna has agreed a deal to move to Manchester City ahead of next season.
The Premier League champions moved quickly to make Sagna a big money offer once news emerged he may not stay with Arsenal.
The move leaves the Gunners with Carl Jenkinson as the club’s primary right-back until a deal for Aurier, or another replacement, is agreed.
The Express has claimed that the Gunners are ready to try and beat AC Milan to the signing of defender Adil Rami.
The Valencia centre-back is thought to be a target for Arsene Wenger as he looks to sure up his back four.
However, Arsenal are working against the natural advantage Milan have, with Rami having spent time on loan at the club last season.
