Italian international midfielder Claudio Marchisio may have been attracting attention from Premier League clubs but his future lies in Turin, his agent has stressed.
The 28-year-old was frequently linked with English sides, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, in January but remains with Juventus.
It doesn't appear that any direct approach from those clubs was made, but the player's agent and father, Stefano Marchisio, is certain his son's future lies with the Old Lady.
"It's true that certain Premier League giants would find a player like Claudio very useful but it's not right to have these conversations and it would be a discussion for Juventus and not for us.
"Marchisio is very happy wearing the Juventus shirt and the fact that Antonio Conte is staying as coach is a further cause for celebration.
"If it's up to him he will certainly stay. We haven't discussed a contract renewal because there is plenty of time to do calmly. For the time being sporting director Beppe Marotta is concerned with more urgent issues."
It appears that any English sides looking to lure Marchisio this summer will have a tough task.
