Chilean international Alexis Sanchez has become hot property in the summer market as he is expected to leave Barcelona.
The 25-year-old who can play up front or on the wing joined Barcelona from Serie A side Udinese in 2011 for just over £20m and is on a £90,000-per-week contract at the Camp Nou.
With 39 goals in 88 games for Barcelona, Sanchez has an impressive record, but he is one of many players at the club tipped to leave ahead of next season.
Juventus' interest in Sanchez has been known for some time and the Old Lady were admirers of his during his time in Serie A, but they have reportedly been joined by Arsenal and Liverpool in seeking his signature.
According to the latest reports in Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Liverpool are ready to table a bid of £20m to try and blow away the competition.
However, the paper believes that Juventus won't give up and have already agreed provisional personal terms with the player.
It has been suggested that Juventus may try and offer a player in part-exchange as they don't have the finances to compete.
Juventus do have the advantage that Sanchez's agent Fernando Felicevich also represents their midfielder Arturo Vidal and could assist in a move.
There are reports circulating that Juventus are ready to sacrifice Vidal to bring Sanchez to Turin and Felicevich could broker the whole deal with Barcelona, leaving Liverpool out in the cold.
