Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly lining up a £48 million bid for Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer.

The Blues winger won the club's Player of the Year award last term after a superb campaign that seen him net 14 goals.

PSG have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Belgium international after watching him dazzle at Stamford Bridge, and a report from L'Equipe has claimed that a £48 million offer will be forthcoming.

Chelsea are under no obligation to offload their prized asset, although reports have suggested that Hazard has become unhappy after manager Jose Mourinho  publicly criticised his player for a lack of defensive work in their defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-final.

Speaking earlier this month, Mourinho said:  "Against Atletico in Madrid, Willian played on the left side and Ashley Cole was protected all game. Against Liverpool, [Andre] Schurrle played on the left and a dangerous player like Glen Johnson was completely under control.

"Eden is the kind of player who is not so mentally ready to look back at his left-back and lay down his life for him.

"If you see Atletico's first goal, you understand where the mistake was and why we conceded that goal.

The Ligue 1 champions are set to pounce on the uncertainty at Stamford Bridge by launching a big-money move for the 23-year-old.
The Parisians have made Hazard their primary target this summer as they look to build a squad capable of competing for the Champions League next term.
