'Podolski had a good game' - Hull star's sarcastic dig at Arsenal maestro

Lukas Podolski Pre FA Cup Press Conference

Hull's Matt Fryatt is unhappy with Lukas Podolski.

Hull City threw away a two goal lead against Arsenal in the FA Cup Final, coming frustrating close to a historic win.

Given the spirited fightback and dominance which showed as the game wore on, few could begrudge The Gunners their victory.

One Hull player who particularly annoyed was Matt Fryatt, who told the Hull Daily Mail that he was not greatly impressed with the attitude of opponent Lukas Podolski.

Fryatt was upset that when Podolski was asked about him prior to the game, the German responded: "Who? Who is this?"

The Hull midfielder himself after the game had a little dig at Podolski's poor display:

"I heard what he said. He had a good game, didn't he? That was disrespectful again. They're his comments and if he doesn't know me then fair enough. He's a foreign player and I don't expect him to know every player but it's a bit of arrogance."

Podolski was substituted after an hour for Yaya Sanogo, who had a positive impact after coming on.

The German international made just 16 passes, and touched the ball only 24 times.
