Overlooked for the Brazil World Cup squad, Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva and Liverpool attacker Coutinho are not moping around.
The duo are pictured above partying together in their homeland, putting club rivalries aside, swapping football shirts for fancy dress.
Rafael's World Cup omission was no great surprise, with the United defender having a disappointing season at the club, struggling with injuries.
Coutinho on the other hand can rightly be upset at his snub, with Chelsea's Oscar picked ahead of him. Oscar scored eight goals but provided only two assists, Coutinho scored five but created seven in the Premier League.
Their respective clubs should only take positives from the snubs. It should provide them with added motivation to kick on next season, and enable them to return to pre-season early and rested and ready to steal a march on teammates and their rivals.
