Arsenal and Manchester United may well be on alert after a report in Spain indicated Barcelona are open to offers regarding Cesc Fabregas.
The Spaniard was subject of a £40 million offer from Manchester United last summer, which was refused by the club.
Marca now report that the Blaugruna are open to offers regarding the midfielder.
And what's more, they even have a replacement identified, a different type of player but one just as highly regarded as Fabregas was at his age, Paul Pogba.
"Barça want to see if they receive any succulent offers for the player and then they might consider letting him go. Cesc has a good reputation amongst Premier League clubs and the Catalan club believe they can achieve over 40 million for him.
"Manchester United still have him on their radar and may well put an offer on the table again this summer. If Barça get a good offer for him their dream replacement would be Paul Pogba."
Pogba learned his craft at Manchester United's academy before leaving on a free transfer to Juventus two summers ago. He has developed into a full French international and is subject of interest from PSG among others.
The problem Barcelona face is that they would have to break their transfer record to sign the midfielder, with Juventus keen to hold onto him unless a staggering offer comes their way.
Whether he is attainable or not, the club's stance on Cesc Fabregas is a big shift from a year ago, although expected new boss Luis Enrique may cause them to change direction.
Arsenal are reported to have a first option clause related to Fabregas, but it would require them to match any bid from United to invoke it.
