Arsenal midfielder plans to have it fixed properly in the summer.
Arsenal's FA Cup win over Hull was a far less painful experience than the last game against the Tigers for Mikel Arteta.
During their Premier League meeting at the KC Stadium several weeks ago, Arteta lost a tooth after colliding with an opponent.
The midfield ace spoke about the incident in Saturday's FA Cup programme, and said he did eventually find it, but to no avail.
"Yes, I found it. We put it in milk straight away, but it couldn't be saved!
"To be fair the dentist has done an unbelievable job, he's put an implant in at the moment, which looks just like my old tooth, and i'll be having it done properly this summer."
The Spaniard did not show any signs of being intimidated or worried about it happening again during the cup final.
Arteta won a combined eight tackles and interceptions, four apiece, more than any Arsenal midfielder at Wembley.
