Arsenal finally ended nine years without a trophy in the most entertaining fashion possible, coming back from 2-0 down to Hull City to win the FA Cup final 3-2 after extra time.
After a breathless opening 10 minutes that saw Arsenal chasing not just one but TWO goals, Santi Cazorla managed to edge the Gunners back into contention with a superb free kick just after the 15 minute mark.
It would be a long wait until Arsenal netted their equaliser though, with sustained pressure finally paying off in the second half as Laurent Koscielny netted from a corner.
From that moment on there only looked like being one winner, though the Gunners had to wait for extra time to score that key odd goal in five, Aaron Ramsey scoring a sublime first time strike to send the North Londoners into dreamland and secure the club's eleventh FA Cup win.
Not long after the win Arsene Wenger confirmed his interest in staying on as Arsenal manager, though the futures of Bacary Sagna and Lukasz Fabianski are less clear, with it likely to be both players' final game for the club.
Below we have a selection of pictures documenting the victory, from match photos to pics of the celebrations on the pitch following the final whistle and awarding of the trophy:
