Arsenal fans react on Twitter to FA Cup final win - "The drought is over!"

Arsenal clinched their first trophy in nine years with a dramatic 3-2 win over Hull City in today's FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

The Gunners went into the game on the back of a barren run in terms of trophies, with their last silverware coming back in 2005, when Arsene Wenger's men saw off Manchester United in the FA Cup final on penalties. Since then, there has been a major drought of success at the Emirates Stadium - which has piled the pressure on manager Wenger.

And today's game didn't get off to the best of starts, as opponents Hull roared into a shock 2-0 lead inside the opening ten minutes. Goals from defenders James Chester and Curtis Davies handed Steve Bruce's side a dream start to the cup final.

But goals from Santi Cazorla and Laurent Koscielny pulled Arsenal level, but they couldn't find the winner in regulation time, sending the game to extra time - where midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored the winner to end the drought, capping off an outstanding season for the Welshman.

Arsenal fans were understandably overjoyed to have finally seen their side win a trophy after such a long time without one, and here are some of the reactions from fans on Twitter who were in celebratory mood after the final whistle.
