Premier League win percentage data has been released, and it shows some startling information on players whose futures are up in the air.
If rumours are to be believed, Brendan Rodgers is considering letting Daniel Agger leave Anfield this summer. It is surprising news considering the Reds' defensive woes were arguably what cost them the league title.
Opta have released the win percentages for players this season, and the Dane is just one of a number of surprising entrants that register among the highest in the league. What is doubly surprising is that the top three are all at risk of being moved on by their clubs this summer.
Only taking into account the players that have played 10 or more games, Agger has the highest win percentage for players in the league, with a hugely impressive 85% of wins from his 20 games.
Top 5 Win percentages in Premier League - club by club:
2. Nacho Monreal (Arsenal) 23 games - 19 won - 82.6% win percentage
3. Joleon Lescott (Man City) 10 games - 8 won - 80% win percentage
4. Ashley Cole (Chelsea) 17 games - 12 won - 70.6% win percentage
5. Harry Kane (Spurs) 10 games - 7 won - 70% win percentage
Cole has the highest results for his club despite being out of favour for much of the season, hitting a decent 70.6%, while Arsenal's Spanish full back has 82.6%, the second strongest in the division. With Arsenal set to feature in the FA Cup final, Monreal may still find himself on the bench for what could be his last game at the club.
Joleon Lescott, also likely to be released from Manchester City next month, is another player with a win percentage in the 80% region.
