La Liga side Real Sociedad face an uphill battle this summer in a bid to hold on to their better players after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
Former Arsenal star Carlos Vela and Ruben Pardo are amongst the familiar names attracting the attention, but it is £25m French international Antoine Griezmann who is the most likely to leave.
The 23-year-old has been excellent for Real Sociedad this season, and his startling performances on the wing have impressed Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool as well as French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners are keen to bolster their ranks this summer, and with a number of central-minded players such as Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla on their books, Antoine Griezmann would certainly give Arsenal more variety in the attacking third.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are also keen to improve in wide areas. The thought of the Reds signing Griezmann and accompanying him with Raheem Sterling and strike duo Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge is a frightening attacking proposition full of pace and endeavour.
Real Sociedad’s intentions of keeping hold of their star player remains strong. However, in a recent interview quoted by Spanish press AS, Griezmann refused to rule out that this Sunday’s clash against Villarreal will be his last.
"I don't think about it too much. I will try to win the game, give everything for the team and that's it, nothing else."
"I do not know, but first we have to play against Villarreal, then the World Cup and then we'll see. I hope to have holidays and then we'll see what happens."
The Liverpool and Arsenal linked star has netted 16 La Liga goals in 30 starts this season, one more ahead of fellow teammate Carlos Vela.
His fine performances have seen him win a place in France’s World Cup squad, and it could be his spot which was favoured over Manchester City ace Samir Nasri.
