Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has posted a picture of himself in training this afternoon.
Arsenal take on Hull City tomorrow in the FA Cup final and it is a game which Arsene Wenger will feel he has to win. The Gunners have gone nine years without winning a major trophy since they defeated Manchester United on penalties in the 2005 equivalent.
With that in mind they will want to be at full strength and one player has appeared to hint at an unexpected return. A return that would also be good news for Roy Hodgson and England.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has not played since the 3-0 win against Hull back in April. He is suffering with a niggling groin injury and is officially listed as a doubt for the final at Wembley tomorrow.
Wenger said of The Ox this week 'there's still some uncertainty about Oxlade-Chamberlain' and admitted he would know more by the end of the week as to whether he could make the matchday squad.
Well is this photo on his Instagram page a clue.
He accompanied the snapshot of him seemingly in good fettle at training with the caption:
Last training session of the season! Excited for tomorrow's big game! #FaCupFinal #AFC #Arsenal
It looks like he might be back for the weekend.
