Chelsea morning news: Everton give up on Lukaku? Reds circle for the Belgian

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez seems to have given his biggest hint yet over the future of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Toffees boss has been linked with making a move for Swansea City forward Wilfried Bony.

The link could be proof that Lukaku is definitely heading back to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.

However, the Surrey Mirror has suggested that Lukaku could be the subject of interest at Liverpool.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed he’s looking to add to his squad this summer and the Belgian would be a superb addition.

However, whether the Blues would be open to doing a deal with one of their main rivals is doubtful.

The Metro has claimed that Chelsea are considering letting David Luiz move to Bayern Munich this summer.

However, the Blues have been linked with bringing striker Mario Mandzukic the other way in a swap transfer.

The Brazilian was linked with a move to the Bundesliga champions yesterday, with a reported fee of around £30 million.
