Arsenal are preparing their victory bus already, and Hull City fans are not happy.
The FA Cup Final is almost upon us, and Hull City are preparing to pull off an upset and win their first major trophy for 110 years.
Opponents Arsenal are firm favourites, especially after beating Hull 3-0 at the KC last month, but the Gunners stand accused of getting ahead of themselves.
The Hull Daily Mail tracked down and revealed yesterday the open top bus for Arsenal's potential victory celebrations being prepared, with 'winners' emblazoned on it:
Coming days after signs in North London were shared on social media, warning residents of a possible victory parade, Hull fans have taken exception.
In the days of health and safety, preparations for road closures is, as the above Twitter user points out, one thing, but a bus is perhaps not, even if Arsenal did not intend on pictures of it being made public prior to the event.
If Arsenal lose the final, this may be one own goal they do not live down.
Hull City fans were not best pleased at the reports, and took to Twitter to express their views...
You could argue the signs were just a precaution, but the bus... Arsenal have crossed the line between confident and disrespectful #hcafc— Tom Wilson (@therealTWilson) May 15, 2014
Just seen the bus. In the words of the Batman, "I'm not afraid, I'm angry..." #hcafc— Just Chris (@MrMeggy) May 15, 2014
After seeing Arsenal's downright arrogance pre Cup Final, I have turned into Kevin Keegan; I would love it if we beat them.. LOVE IT. #HCAFC— Lee Freer (@LNFreer89) May 15, 2014
