The Germany international has confirmed that he has no plans to leave Signal Iduna Park, despite significant interest in him from England.
Manchester United’s summer spending spree is expected to include a number of talented and creative attacking players, with Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus amongst the names linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
However, it appears that the outgoing Premier League champions will need to turn their attentions elsewhere, as the Germany international has completely dismissed the potential for a Signal Iduna Park exit.
“I can definitely say that I will play for Dortmund next season,” the former Borussia Monchengladbach man told Kicker.
“I don’t have to keep stressing how well I feel here.”
There have been reports in Germany that Reus may well be set to pen a new Dortmund deal this summer to stave off interest from overseas.
The attacking midfielder has been named in Joachim Low’s preliminary squad for the World Cup and looks certain to stay at Dortmund rather than move to United.
