The Toulouse right-back, who has been touted as a potential Bacary Sagna replacement, says he is focused solely on the World Cup.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that it is very likely that Bacary Sagna will leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, with the defender’s contract expiring and an agreement not being reached.

As such, the Gunners will be in the market for a replacement this summer, with Toulouse’s Serge Aurier touted as a major target in recent months.

Despite the potential for a switch to the Premier League this summer, the versatile defender has stated that he is only thinking about playing for the Ivory Coast at this summer’s World Cup.

"Arsenal? I do not know,” Le10sport.com quote the African as saying.

“It is an honor to have played this season. I will have time to think about all this but for now there is the World Cup."

Aurier has started 33 Ligue 1 games for Toulouse this season, scoring six goals and assisting six more.

The 21-year-old is expected to star at this summer’s World Cup and add to the seven caps he has amassed since making his international debut last year.
