The Mirror state that Hugo Lloris will be offered improved terms in a bid to keep him at White Hart Lane this summer.
It has been a turbulent campaign for Tottenham, with the goal of Champions League football eluding the North London side for another season.
One of the bright sparks of an otherwise frustrating season has been the stellar form of Hugo Lloris, who has continued to pull out top-drawer saves throughout the campaign.
With no Champions League football next season, there have been rumblings that the France international stopper could well return to his homeland, with big-spending Paris Saint-Germain said to be keen on the ex-Lyon custodian.
However, The Mirror have today revealed that Spurs will offer Lloris a new and improved contract at White Hart Lane to deter the goalkeeper’s suitors.
The report goes on to state that PSG would need to spend around £30 million to land the star and that he is relatively settled in London, despite things not going to plan on the pitch.
For Spurs to progress it seems like they will need to keep top players such as Lloris and Jan Vertonghen at the club.
