Manchester City fans react on Twitter to final day title win - "We've got our trophy back"

Manchester City clinched their second Premier League title in three seasons with a 2-0 win over West Ham United today.

City went into today's game leading Liverpool by two points after the 4-0 midweek win over Aston Villa, and their superior goal difference all but meant that avoiding defeat would see the title head back to the Etihad Stadium after a year's absence.

They faced an out of form West Ham United side, and Sam Allardyce's men offered little resistance as City eased to a comfortable 2-0 win - a far cry from the drama at the Etihad Stadium two years ago, where Sergio Aguero won the title with just seconds to spare.

The title win serves as vindication for Sheikh Mansour, as his decision to replace Roberto Mancini with Manuel Pellegrini wasn't particularly with British press or even City fans at the time, but the Chilean has led City back to the summit of English football in his first season in charge - and there is surely more to come.

City fans were obviously delighted with their title win and celebrated on Twitter, praising Mansour's influence at the club and enjoying reclaiming the trophy from city rivals Manchester United.

Here are a selection of tweets from City fans this evening.
