There was certainly a celebratory feel around Chelsea Football Club the other day - as four of their players received the good news of a call-up to the Brazilian team for a home World Cup.
David Luiz, Oscar, Ramires and Willian all received nods from ex-Blues boss Luiz Felipe Scolari. The four make up part of the 23 man Selecao squad for their very own World Cup which promises to be a special one for the Samba Stars.
But they are not the only Chelsea players celebrating a Brazil call-up this week. No, because young forward Lucas Piazon is also on top of the world - after receiving a call up for the Brazilian Under-20 team.
It was confirmed earlier this week that Piazon would not play a part in Vitesse Arnhem’s, the Dutch side he has been on loan with all season, Europa League play-off games in order to join up with Brazil’s young stars ahead of the World Youth Festival in Toulon.
Piazon has now confirmed as much via his Facebook account and is obviously very happy with the call-up.
It probably means more to him as it is a long time since he last represented his nation. He last played for Brazil at under-17 level way back in July 2011.
