Atletico Madrid, PSG, Juventus, Real Madrid and Arsenal stars all feature.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will more than likely already be drawing up his list of transfer targets to go after when the summer window officially opens.
Some reports have suggested that he’s already started going after some deals, keen to get them sorted before the World Cup, which bypasses the risk of a bidding war once the tournament in Brazil is over.
We’ve taken a look at five of the best players linked with Stamford Bridge switches this summer.
Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid)
Anyone who has followed this feature over the last few weeks will note Costa as a regular when it comes to Chelsea transfer news. The Blues are still well in the race to get him this summer as Mourinho has admitted a need for a ‘killer’ striker to come into his pack.
Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)
Should Chelsea fail as they go after Diego Costa, Edinson Cavani has been suggested as an alternative. The Uruguayan would command a very expensive transfer fee and PSG have just cast doubt over him leaving. However, that won’t stop the Blues making a bid if they want him.
Paul Pogba (Juventus)
SportWitness went with a piece which suggested the possibility of Chelsea interest in former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. Chelsea have been linked with the Frenchman at various points this season as he continues to turn his career around at the Serie A champions.
Raphael Varane (Real Madrid)
Towards the start of the week news broke that Jose Mourinho had urged the Chelsea board to consider going after Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane. Varane is a player that Mourinho described as the best young defender in the world when he was in charge of Los Blancos.
Bacary Sagna (Arsenal)
The Mirror revealed that Chelsea are one of the sides interested in keeping Bacary Sagna in the Premier League. The Frenchman is a free agent when his contract expires at Arsenal, with the Gunners trying to get him committed to a long term deal. Sagna could release Branislav Ivanovic to bolster the centre of Chelsea’s defence.
