Manchester United's Tom Lawrence, who only made his debut for the Old Trafford club on Sunday, is in line for a call up to the full Welsh national team according to reports.
The Dragons are set to name an extended 40-man squad for the June friendly with the Netherlands, and Lawrence, who started against Hull City alongside fellow academy graduate James Wilson, is set to be a part of Chris Coleman's group.
It will be the Welshman's first senior call up, though he has featured 8 times for the Under-21s where he netted 3 goals.
Unlike Wilson, Lawrence has managed to get some first team action under his belt aside from the game against the Tigers, having taken in loan spells at Carlisle United and Yeovil Town this season.
"It was great to see him make his debut at Manchester United," he said.
"We've been well aware of his progress and his development for several years, and that's why he is being named in the pool for the Holland camp.
"He's had to go out on loan to get the experience and, while he's done that he's done well.
"But it's great to see players like Tom who we've identified coming through getting a chance with Manchester United and that augurs well for the future."
