A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Friday evening.
Tottenham Head Coach Tim Sherwood has said he has been treated like a supply teacher as speculation surrounding his future at the club continues.
This comes after midfielder Sandro told ESPN in Brazil that Sherwood will leave the club in the summer.
Sherwood has been quoted in several media outlets, saying: “If you have a supply teacher who comes into your school, sometimes they’re not treated with the respect a headmaster is.
“I’m not sure if the chairman has spoken to Sandro but obviously someone has told him, the players see a lot of speculation.
“It begins to be more than that, I have had a lot of players come to me and say their agents have told them that I’m not going to be here next year, it is a very difficult situation but I have got to get on with it.”
One potential candidate, Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino has remained tight lipped over the reports.
He’s quoted, saying: “Many things are bandied around and spoken and there are a lot of rumours thrown around.”
Spurs are still without Nacer Chadli, Mousa Dembele, Erik Lamela, Andros Townsend, Jan Vertonghen and Kyle Walker.
