June is almost upon us, and that means it’s nearly time for this year’s E3 event. E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is the biggest event on the gaming calendar. Each year publishers and developers gather in LA to showcase and reveal their latest titles, consoles, and tech.
Last year we saw the announcement of Star Wars: Battlefront, Mirror’s Edge, and Battlefield 4 from EA. In an investor conference call on Tuesday, EA revealed that there will be details unveiled on at least six new projects at this year’s E3. And when answering a question about the Star Wars titles in development at EA, CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed we'd be seeing more of Star Wars: Battlefront during E3 at least.
We’re expecting E3 2014 to be huge, with plenty of titles yet to be released, and details still to be revealed for them. Could we be seeing details for a new Mass Effect title, or even some more of Mirror’s Edge?
The “EA World Premiere: E3 2014 Preview” will be held on 9 June 2014 at 12pm Pacific Time – this event will be hosted by EA CEO Andrew Wilson, and we’ve been promised “exclusive sneak peeks of new projects and never-before-seen content” over on the EA blog.
