Deutsche Bank makes 4 senior hires into fixed income

Deutsche Bank has announced four senior additions to its Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) business, within Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S), in New York.

Aaron Elliott will join the Bank as a Managing Director and Credit Desk Analyst. He will report to James Kenny and Josh Wilkes, Co-Heads of Investment Grade Credit in North America. Elliott has more than 12 years experience in credit analysis. He joins from Citigroup, where he spent more than six years, most recently as managing director and head of European financials credit analysis.

Jeff Horan will join the Bank as a Director in Investment Grade Credit Trading, also reporting to Kenny and Wilkes. Horan has more than 10 years experience trading preferred and hybrid securities, most recently at Goldman Sachs, where he was a senior credit trader. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Bear Stearns.

Mike Weir will join the Bank as a Director and US Par Loan Trader. He will report to Bill Dobson and Mike Eilert, Co-Heads of US Par Loan Trading. Weir joins from UBS where he was an executive director on the par loan trading team. Previously he ran the loan trading desk at Citadel Securities and earlier in his career worked at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

Daniel Znaty will join the Bank as a Director in Credit Sales, reporting to Faris Naber, Head of Credit Sales North America. He joins from Barclays, where he spent seven years in credit sales, servicing clients in both Boston and New York. He previously worked at Companhia Vale Do Rio Doce in Brazil and Fortis Bank in France.
