Wilshere: Fabregas best I've played and 'who wouldn't' want him back

Jack Wilshere has been speaking about Cesc Fabregas in a Twitter Q&A this afternoon.

Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has had a rather boring Thursday afternoon - and decided to reach out to fans for a quick question and answer session on Twitter - which through up some interesting topics of debate.

First of all it became clear that he was doing the Q&A as one of his children was watching Peppa Pig - he also confirmed what Arsene Wenger previously said about his status for the Norwich City game; he is available after his lengthy absence with a broken navicular bone picked up on international duty with England.

But he also had some more controversial and interesting questions to answer.

Firstly there was this…

Scholes had laid into him in March; the former United star saying Arsenal’s great hope “doesn't look any better player now than he did when he was 17.”

Wilshere clearly disagreed with that.

He also made it clear that Luis Suarez - who won the PFA Player of the Year award this season - was not his vote, he went for Manchester City’s overlooked Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure instead:

But the really interesting comments came when questions were asked of former captain Cesc Fabregas.

The Barcelona star has recently seen his future at the Nou Camp cast into doubt - just three seasons since leaving Arsenal in a £35 million move in August 2011.

But Wilshere would love to have him back - and also rates him as the best player he has ever played against!
