Mattia Destro's impressive season in Serie A seems to have won two high-profile Premier League admirers who could go to war for his signature.
The 23-year-old has long been seen as one of Italy's most exciting attacking prospects and this season has seen him truly demonstrate his potential.
Destro's hat-trick at Cagliari in April was a fantastic advert for his abilities and showed the watching world that he has a lethal eye for goal.
But the Roma youth product's tally has been stuck at 13 for the season as he had to serve a four-game ban after that match when video evidence showed him punching Cagliari defender Davide Astori.
The paper reports that representatives from the two clubs have contacted Destro's agent to discuss the possibility of relocating to the Premier League.
It is suggested that both sides are keen to begin talks quickly in case Destro is selected for Italy's World Cup squad and his value rockets.
However, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has reportedly listed Destro amongst the players in his squad that he would not consider selling and even a bid of over £20m may not be enough.
Scouts from Man United and Arsenal are expected to watch Destro play against Juventus on Sunday.
